What happens after the session and the images after they’ve been taken?
Two weeks after your photo session, we’ll make a date to meet either online or at an agreed location (your home or cafe) for your purchasing appointment. Here is where you see your best images professionally edited from our fun afternoon session. There will be lots of ooh’ing and aww’ing while you flick through your images at your leisure! During your ordering appointment, you can pick your Prints and Products to purchase. The images can either be turned into beautiful pieces of Wall Art to display of our beloved furry friends, or Products such as Acrylic Blocks, Fine Art Prints, Keepsake Box/Album, or simply the Digital Files to keep. Your artwork is professionally printed with archival inks, which produces a three dimensional lifelike quality and emphasises the vibrant colours captured in our work.
My dog isn’t good off leash?
It’s quite a common occurrence for us to do the entire shoot on a lead. Not to worry, safety comes first. Leads can be removed in digital post production, and you’ll never know it was there! If your dog usually wears a harness, we do ask that you bring along a collar for the shoot.
What if my dog is constantly on the move?
Even if your dog doesn’t know sit or stay commands, we have plenty of tricks to coax them into position and then grab their attention. No dog is ever too difficult. I have worked with both deaf and blind dogs They only need to be in position for a spit second and we know exactly when to press the button.
What pets do you photograph?
All our furry friends! Dogs, Cats, Birds, Ferrets, Turtles, Horses… You name it, we photograph it!
How do I pay for my order? ?
At your purchasing session, there are two available payment options:
Pay in full at time of ordering, or
Our no wait ‘Enjoy Now, Pay Later’ lay-by system with PayRight. This allows you to collect your order and enjoy your artworks as soon as they are printed.
What should I expect during a dog session?
Each session takes around 90 minutes and during that time I will take a series of pet portrait images to capture their unique personalities and some lovely moments with you all together. I take the time during my sessions to build a connection with your pet, make them feel at ease and free to express their true joy!
If your dog is very energetic and active, we can start off with some fun action shots, playing and running around. Then we can progress into some portraits! If your dog is shy, we can sit around and talk and give them more time to make sure they are comfortable with me being there before I start photographing. Your role - have fun, be natural and enjoy playing with your dog! I will require your assistance at times and I will let you know where I need you to be and if there is something specific I need you to do.What pets do you photograph?
